Steven,

I think you are thinking of Amphenol connectors.  As Bob has already 
pointed out, the connectors on Webster-Chicago equipment are Jones 
connectors.  To be more precise they are Cinch Jones connectors.

And JERRY,low and behold, I'm looking at them on page 1000 of the Mouser 
online catalog!

The output connectors are type 302
parts number 538-13021 (plug) and 538-23021 (socket)

Mic connectors are type 303
parts number 538-13031 (plug) and 538-23031 (socket)

So much for my years of searching.  There it is under my nose.
