Dear Les et al --
I am rather intrigued by the idea of uncontrolled series access, a new 
way to separate description and access that hadn't been anticipated.

What worries me is those of us who have systems that will not allow us 
to follow the LC path. For example, in our current system, if you code 
a series 490 0#, the title is not indexed. If we code it 440, the 
series title automatically creates a provisional authority record.
