PCC OCLC members should keep in mind a basic difference in reporting database maintenance. The OCLC Quality Control Unit handles bibliographic records within the OCLC WorldCat.
Maintenance in the authority files, whether names or subjects, as well as revisions to LC bibliographic records, must be reported to your LC liaison for action.
When members report everything to OCLC, it creates backlogs there and at LC as the workload is sorted out.
Guidelines for reporting BFM are on an FAQ at http://www.loc.gov/catdir/pcc/naco/bfmguide.html
