The Library of Congress will host a number of presentations at its booth
at the ALA Annual conference in New Orleans. This year, in addition to the
many others about various products and initiatives at the Library of
Congress, there will be a "standards showcase". There will be two
half-hour presentations at various times featuring some of the standards
for which LC serves a key role in maintenance. The following is the
schedule:

Sat. June 24 
2:00-2:30: METS, MODS, and MARCXML
2:30-3:00: PREMIS (Preservation metadata)

Sun. June 25
10:00-10:30: METS, MODS, and MARCXML
10:30-11:00: PREMIS

Mon. June 26
10:00-10:30: METS, MODS, and MARCXML
10:30-11:00: PREMIS

Come to the LC booth # 2158 at the New Orleans Convention Center at any of
the above times.
