Spending hours searching, reading and disseminating important information? An emerging content delivery mechanism called RSS is gaining popularity to help reduce the burden of finding and distributing information from libraries out to stakeholders.
The DC Chapter of the Special Libraries Association (DC/SLA) presents this program called "Enterprise RSS" by Todd Berkowitz of Newsgator.com. You'll learn more about how RSS works, why centrally-administered solutions are often preferable to individual end-use products, and hear some best practices in terms of identifying use cases, building business cases, and determining the best strategy for increasing user adoption.
