Information Services Division (ISD) is seeking a digital services
librarian to develop and implement plans and strategies to enhance
the creation, discovery, and retrieval of scientific and technical
digital information. Work with other members of ISD to create and
promote innovative digital services and tools to support library,
e-publishing, and museum activities. Research, evaluate, and/or
analyze options and make recommendations relating to digital
content creation and management. Oversee the creation of digital
collections from born-digital and non-digital objects, ensuring
interoperability with digital repositories. Implement a variety of
methods for the management and delivery of digital content,
including electronic resource management and digital repository
systems, RSS feeds, and podcasting. Participate in customer data
gathering and analysis activities. Plan, coordinate, manage, and
report on a wide variety of complex projects and activities related
to ISD's digital initiatives. Keep abreast of and advise on digital
library and scholarly/scientific e-publishing issues, trends, best
practices, technologies, and standards. Serve as liaison to assigned
customer and stakeholder groups.
SALARY RANGE: 54,272.00 - 84,559.00 USD per year
