Only if you have any LDs that are not currently available on DVD in some
form or fashion (different 'cut', different extras such as commentary
tracks, trailers, etc.) F'rinstance, the movie Blade Runner has only been
available in the "Director's Cut" version for quite some time and the
original theatrical release has never been on DVD except for Japanese
bootlegs. The original release included a voiceover by Harrison Ford among
other differences. Another example: the Criterion CAV release of Goldfinger
has a commentary by director Terrence Young that apparently offended someone
enough to warrant the rapid recall of the set and reissue as a bare bones
CLV release with no extras at all. Doubt that one will EVER be on DVD.
