I found a bug today in the conversion stylesheet for MARC to MODS
http://www.loc.gov/standards/mods/v3/MARC21slim2MODS.xsl
If the MARC record has an 010 field with both a current LCCN (subfield a)
and an obsolete LCCN (subfield z), the stylesheet puts the good LCCN
in the <identifier type="lccn"> element, as you would expect, but it
also adds a "invalid="yes"" attribute because of the presence of the
subfield z...
This is probably true for other fields that define a subfield z for old or
obsolete identifier values, I just noticed it in the LCCN conversion.
