Join Pat Sproehnle, Government Account Executive, for a demonstration of the functionality and content for each of these exciting new products. A question and answer period will immediately follow the demonstration.
Just a sampling of new features and products they will discuss:
One Click searching (tm). This innovation (accessible within the new
ProQuest Resource Linking feature) eliminates the frustration of
multiple and/or dead-end links - something serious researchers often
complain about.
ProQuest Accounting and Tax with Standards is an exciting new database merging authoritative journal content with relevant standards from the leading boards - FASB, GASB, and IASB. ProQuest Accounting & Tax with Standards delivers the information via a new interface designed specifically for accounting research. It's flexible, easy to use, and easy to integrate with your other ProQuest databases.
ProQuest Historical Annual Reports fills a void in today's business
content offerings. While most companies provide their most current
annual reports to the public, comprehensive reports from years past were largely unavailable in any form-until now. The corporate annual reports of the past are a rich source of information for scholars in business, economics, and history. ProQuest Historical Annual Reports(tm) offer invaluable information on companies, including financial performance, key officers, competitors, and market trends. This premiere archive of treasured business information, combined with your existing business content, forms a powerful combination of resources for your users.
Historical Annual Reports nicely complements other valuable ProQuest
databases such as ABI/INFORM(r). It's also fully cross-searchable with
ProQuest Historical Newspapers(tm).
PressDisplay provides online access to today's newspapers from around the world in full-color, full-page format. The ever-expanding collection currently includes over 300 titles. Just like reading the familiar print edition, viewers can browse articles and other key content, such as pictures, advertisements, classifieds, and notices. The service also
provides a 60-day backfile and the ability to perform advanced searches within any issue, email, print, translate and hear an article! Come to the presentation to find out more!
ProQuest Dissertation & Theses is your definitive guide to more than 2
million doctoral dissertations and master's theses covering 1861 to the
present. This database is the single, authoritative source for information about doctoral dissertations and master's theses. The
database represents the work of authors from over 1,000 graduate schools and universities in North America and from around the globe. Over 47,000 new dissertations and 12,000 new theses are added to the database each year. The database includes bibliographic citations for materials ranging from the first U.S. dissertation, accepted in 1861, to those accepted as recently as last semester. Citations for dissertations published from 1980 forward also include 350-word abstracts written by the author. Citations for master's theses from 1988 forward include 150-word abstracts. The full text of more than 1.8 million of these titles is available in paper, microform, and electronic (if subscription allows) formats. Institutional subscribers to ProQuest Dissertation & Theses Full-Text receive on-line access to the complete file of dissertations in digital format starting with titles published from 1997 forward.
