I have verified with the New Members Roundtable of ALA, that this
service is open to ALL who seek help with their resumes.  For us Federal
Librarians that may want to transition to the public or academic
sectors, this is a great reality check.  If you are a member of ALA &

I know that eventually I would like to transition into the public or
academic sectors in a couple years and I plan on taking advantage of

The New Members Round table offers its resume review service to all
attendees of the Midwinter Conference in Seattle!

Librarians from all types of libraries, with various specializations
have volunteered to help you make your resume shine!

How does it work? Reviewers meet with a job seeker for 30 minutes and
give constructive advice on how to improve your resume and/or cover
letter.  Reviewers comment on overall presentation, layout,
organization, content and spelling/grammar issues.  More information at
