Hi Sonia:
As the administrator of an EAD consortium who spreads the gospel and makes
it possible for many institutions to implement EAD, I and the 23
institutions I work with wouldn't be good candidates. One of our specific
goals has been to lower those barriers through cooperative effort.
But I would recommend that you talk to Kim Allen Scott, special collections
librarian at Montana State University, who can be reached at "Scott, Kim"
<[log in to unmask]>. He's a thoughtful guy who has a reasoned critique of
EAD and why he hasn't jumped on the bandwagon.
Best, Jodi
