The American Institute for Conservation (AIC) is seeking candidates to participate in the AIC Collections Emergency Response Training program, funded by a grant from the Institute for Museum and Library Services and presented in collaboration with Southeastern Museums Conference, Charleston Museum, National Park Service, and Seattle Art Museum. The four-and-a-half day workshop will be offered in three locations in 2007 for conservators and allied professionals.

Participants will receive travel, housing, and meal allowance. Participants must complete the Incident Command System online course offered by FEMA prior to taking the workshop. IS-100 can be accessed at http://training.fema.gov/EMIWeb/IS/crslist.asp.
Applications are due by February 15 for the May training; by May 15 for the October and November dates.
