At the National Library of Australia we have another question for Morgan
re the draft LC METS Profile for Historical Newspapers.
The profile requires three dmdSec, the first containing an mdRef to a
bib record for the printed version of the newspaper, the second
containing an mdRef to a bib record for the digital version of the
newspaper, and the third containing an mdWrap with the MODS record for a
digitised issue of the newspaper.
What was the thinking behind having three separate dmdSec instead of
just including a reference to the bib record for the printed and digital
versions of the newspaper in the MODS record for the issue under
<relatedItem type="host"> ?
