Naco members,
In this discussion, one should keep several points in mind:
The *NACO participant*s manual* is not authoritative and the
current edition (November 2005) pre-dates many developments. It is
merely a guide to documentation and practice. More important, one should
not catalog by example, but by rule.
Both DCM Z1 and the *MARC21 Format for Authority Data* have been
updated and give both formatting instructions and examples for the
proper use of subfield u in 670s.
