If you think it would be good to include initiatives that are more
in a visionary vein, I recommend that you consider the role of SRU
and ISO 23950 generally in the Global Earth Observations System of
Systems (GEOSS). A 10-minute narrated presentation (about 19 MB in
size) is at http://www.search.gov/clearinghouse.zip Once you have
downloaded the file, extract the ZIP'ed files to any directory on
your system, then execute the Powerpoint ("clearinghouse.ppt").
