It is nice when things like SRU and metasearch work as expected.

As you may or may not know, I have indexed sets of EAD/XML files as a  
part of the following website:

   http://www.catholicresearch.net/

I used swish-e as the underlying indexer and put a Perl-based SRU  
server on top of that. In preparation for version 2.0 of the  
"catholic portal" I outlined a technical infrastructure on code4lib.  
An archivist from Texas read my outline, and incorporated my SRU  
interface into his metasearch tool -- Keystone. See:
