Did you know you can go in anytime and change your subscription settings to the EAD List?
For example, some people prefer to receive each posting individually as they are sent. Others prefer receiving all the messages compiled in a daily digest. Some prefer to receive copies of messages that they post to the List; others don't. You can do this and more by checking the following link:
If anyone has questions about their subscription settings (and can't find what you want in the "help" link on the left of the above page), please don't hesitate to send me an email.
Also, the Library of Congress has recently created brief usage guidelines for all the Listservs and email discussion forums that it hosts. The text below will be sent to all new users who sign up, but all current users are being sent the same announcement also:
By subscribing to this Listserv, you agree to the following:
You are fully responsible for everything that you post and will follow the general rules of respectful civil discourse. The content of all comments is released into the public domain unless clearly stated otherwise. The Library of Congress does not control the content posted. The Library of Congress may decline to post messages that are off-topic, disruptive or for any reason whatever, without consent, and we further reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to remove a user's privilege to post content on this Listserv.
What does this mean to you, the user? Not much! Please continue using and enjoying the EAD Listserv as you always have!
