Beginning Date: Tuesday, August 7, 2007
Ending Date: Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 5:00 PM.
Essential Functions: Reader advisor to library patrons, processes new books, entering new
applications for service into database, files paper applications. Position writes articles for library
newsletter, word pronunciation research for recording studio, maintains catalog records. Supervises
NEWSLINE services to library patrons. Must be willing to attend professional conferences. Assists
in circulation as needed. Prefer candidates with experience in library program for the blind and/or
physically handicapped. Must be willing to perform all job related travel.

Education and Experience Requirements: Level I -- Master's degree in library science from a
program accredited by the American Library Association. Level II same as Level I plus two years of
professional library experience. Level III same as Level II plus two additional years of qualifying
experience. Level IV same as Level III plus one additional year of qualifying experience.
