A friend of mine here in Nashville did a bunch of tests that showed half the
maximum speed of the particular burner very consistently gave the best
results. Another friend in San Francisco made a study of reflectivity which
seemed to relate to reliable playback with audio CD players. He found
slower speeds increased reflectivity although the raw error counts were
higher.
