What would you give to go into any job interview, employee review, or
presentation with confidence—knowing that whatever question is thrown
at you, you’ll be able to handle it?
In this Learning@Lunch session you will learn techniques that can be
used in both your business and personal life—and will benefit everyone
from a senior executive facing a hostile meeting to a job searcher
facing a critical interview. With a little practice, you will develop
the confidence and skills needed to answer any question effectively no
matter how difficult and ensure that the important ideas YOU want to
express are heard.
Author Tom Calcagni is a top communications consultant who has been
teaching senior executives, political pros and even a celebrity or two
to prepare for interviews, and more importantly, how to take control of
them. He currently serves as Chief Communications Strategist for the
Special Libraries Association (SLA) In Alexandria, VA.
The Learning@Lunch series is designed to provide an informal setting at
which topics of interest to federal information professionals will be
presented. Each lecture is free and lasts approximately 90 minutes.
Information professionals are encouraged to propose topics and
presenters for upcoming series lectures. When possible, Web conferencing
will be utilized to expand opportunities to participate in the lecture.
