TGIF everyone. Got a question about discarding books.
I'm back with the feds after a 20 year absence. I used excess book lists back then (in paper!) and just want to make sure it works the same way. We list our books and if we get no takers, then we are free to discard, right? Do we have to try more than once? Is there a certain time period involved? What about offering them to someone outside the government, like a law firm? I really hate to have this stuff go in the dumpster. BTW, the bulk of what I have is F.3d, F.Supp., Sct. Rptr., and West's FPDigest 4th.
Thanks,
Allison
