Oh dear, let's not begin worrying if the *information* in a non-AACR2 record is authomatically suspect--there goes a *lot* of useful information!

The other issue that I didn't bring up in my original message, is that
many of these European and Asian records are not AACR2 records per se.
They follow other rules, so the headings found there may not be in an
AACR2 form. This is very true of headings on Polish library records for
example, and probably many others. Nevertheless, the headings might give
dates and/or fuller forms of names that are useful to establishing the
AACR2 form for the heading.
I guess I was worrying too much and picking too fine a nit over the fact
that the record that I'd be citing in OCLC represents the same resource
being cataloged that is being cited in another citation. I'll go with the
suggestion of most to just cite OCLC or WorldCat as a separate resource
even though in this case providing usage in particular gives redundant
information.
