Susan Summer is our NACO reviewer but since she is out for the month, I'll
speak for her. Catalogers save name headings in the OCLC save file and
Susan reviews all headings before producing them. We re-visit whether this
is necessary every few years as you are doing and we always decide it is
worth it both because of quality control issues and because we catch
duplicates right up to the last minute. A second set of eyes is worth it
in our opinion.
