RODA (Authentic Digital Objects Repository) it's based on Fedora and
uses EAD metadata. It's a project still in development.
EAD metadata is splitted into "EAD Components" (EAD-C: <c> elements of
an EAD) and each EAD-C is stored in a Fedora Object. We call these
objects, Description Objects. Description Objects are connected to
each other to form the description tree. The whole tree forms an EAD
The project webpage is http://roda.dgarq.gov.pt/ but it's mainly in Portuguese.
