Hello,
I have been monitoring the discussion for some time. The system I am
working with is print on demand printer which provides books for
multiple publishers. HOWEVER, as the discussion progressed it seems
clear to me now that plain ONIX is probably what we are going to be
using since the data we are conveying is essentially publisher data.
I did want to make an additional point. The reason why I posted
originally about using a DC-combination scheme is due to lack of SRU
client support for ONIX. DC seems to have more traction and would
provide better exposure of data in this particular system. I would
rather not resort to the use of ONIX but I think in this case it would
make the most sense.
