The Montague Institute will hold a teleconference roundtable discussion on
June 18, 2008
from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Eastern time.
Recent consolidation in the search engine market plus the explosive growth
of Microsoft's Sharepoint platform have caused many organizations to
rethink their strategies for enterprise search and related applications. In
this roundtable, Jean Graef of the Montague Institute will report on her
organization's test of MOSS 2007 (Sharepoint) search and navigation
functions. Then, Jim Smith, a member of the search evaluation team of a
global manufacturing organization, will describe the results of a recent
Proof of Concept test between Google and Autonomy.
