Sorry in advance for the cross-posting.
I have for sale a double-wide (side by side, bolted and perhaps glued together, unknown if veneer is
present on attached sides) custom-made pair of racks that are perfect for your external gear or
maybe even your whole studio.
The racks are slope-front for half the height and straight up and down for the bottom half. Each
section has 21" of rack space (4x 21" total). Height is 42". Top depth is 12". Bottom depth is 21".
There are no wheels but screw-in adjustable heavy duty furniture feet. They are made out of
high-quality 3/4" plywood and covered with a mid-brown veneer (not blond but not blackish-brown
either), "formica" like (ie water-wipe surface).
The buyer will need to come get them in Danbury CT. I need them out of the storage locker by August
20th. The total width is about 42" so they will probably fit in a minivan with the seats removed, or
the back of a pickup, or a regular van. They won't fit in most cars.
Yours for $150. Compare that to off-the shelf junky particle-board racks and it's much, much cheaper
than a custom-built solution. If you have an analog console, these would look great behind your
seat.
The back panels are also veneered and they pop on and off with magnetic fasteners. One panel has a
large hole in it to run cables. There are also holes on both sides toward the bottom.
Oh, also, it's wired for AC with outlet strips on both sides! The veneer is in good condition, no
scratches or chips. They were well taken care of in their original home by the pro engineer who
built them and I moved them into storage with care. When you come pick them up, we have access to a
loading dock if that's easier for you.
Please ping me OFF-LIST if interested. And remember, it's gotta be picked up by August 20th.
