Checked em already. Neither seems to have a pre-made solution. All require wiring. I was trying to 
avoid hours with the soldering iron or punchdown tool but there may be not option if I want to use 
old-school patchcords on the front.

Cost-wise, especially considering the value of my time, it's probably a much better deal to just buy 
a decent-grade "headphone" type panel with switchable normalling and just buy a pack or two of the 
"new school" patchcords. And there's also the fact that 5 years of scrambling behind racks and tape 
decks when I need to change something for a specific job hasn't resulted in one problem yet. In 
fact, I had one client specifically request that everything be direct-connected with the shortest 
cable lengths possible and he provided his own super-priced wires. I smiled and bit my tongue from 
mentioning that the sound ultimate travels on both ends over tiny traces on circuit boards and 
inside even tinier chips.
