I've forwarded your inquiry to the ARSC list. There are various educational
initives underway, most of which I'm unaware of, but others will be. I'm
sure your questions will be well answered there.

Dear Steve
I've just come across your excellent 1999 documentary on NPR {lost and found
sound} and am fascinated by your work, from a technical and also a
historical / archival point of view. It's a field I've been following for
many years, being an avid collector of old recording technologies.
I believe it's an area of work that will become more invaluable in the
future.
Can you suggest any avenues in to your field of work? either through
training, volunteering or self study? I'm curious how you found this niche?
I'm based in the UK which probably makes the question a little harder to
answer, but any input from you would be very greatly received.
All the best with your work & thanks in advance.
