Hi, Caroline. Here's how it can work. The program will accept the latest report if you have more than one. Please add your July and August together and submit them in a second report. then the system will ignore the July-only data, and will process your combined July-August report to display the 2-month tally in the August column.
For the time box on the report form, you can say Jul-Aug08, or anything you like. The stats software doesn't read the date and doesn't make any decisions based on the date. It just assigns the recent group of reports to its next monthly column, in this case August.
Thanks for asking. Enjoy your weekend. We're getting the gentlest, most nourishing rain for the second day. Tomorrow we could have some rain, but Sunday and Monday will be good for our little community carnival with a midway, rides, and a Monday morning parade. Lucky me--the parade passes our court's driveway, so I can crutch out to perch on a chair. Carolyn

Without having read this I just sent in a report today (8/29) for July
2008. Can I send in a report next week (before September 7) for August
2008 or is it too late?

We're nearing the end of the fiscal year for the PCC statistics and
narrative annual reports for PCC programs. BIBCO contributors are asked
to send forward their September stats on an earlier schedule to help us
meet our deadlines. In addition, we ask for your narrative reports on
the highlights of program activities in your institution from the
beginning of October1, 2007 to the end of September, 2008.
September 19--is the deadline for narrative reports. In a one or a few
paragraphs, you can talk about new initiatives, expansion to different
formats or languages, and facility, staffing, and collection issues that
are part of this year's story. Please send FY2008 BIBCO narrative
reports to Carolyn Sturtevant ([log in to unmask]) by September 19.
