Lynn, This is a very broad question that spans archival, educational,
and library literature. Do you have a narrower question in mind? A
comprehensive list of sources from 2004 is Chris Neuhaus' assessment
bibliography http://www.uni.edu/neuhaus/digitalbibeval.html ,
I recently completed a survey of academic historians regarding their
use of online and archival priimary sources in teaching. The online
finding aid was reported to be a relatively minor barrier to student users.
