Ryan,
We do the EAD first now. We have our own home-grown system for creating
our EAD finding aids. Currently, we create a record in OCLC Connexion
manually, taking the information from the finding aid and pasting it in.
We have been playing around with the EAD2MARC tools and hope to be able
to extract more information to create a sort of "template" MARC record.
We think we will still have to do some manual editing along the way.
