Hello Alison,
I had the same problem, when first using this instruction from Bill Walker. It seems there is a little turn around in numbers in there. Try this:
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
c:\ [pathway]\saxon.jar -o %3 %1 %2
pause
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I think it will work with Saxon 6.5.3, 6.5.5 and also with 8.9.0.4.j.
I hope this is helpful.

Betreff: Virtual Machine, revisited (Saxon users)
Hello everyone,
My work computer was just replaced with one running Windows XP, and I'm reinstalling NoteTabPro to do XML-HTML transformations. I've been using the instructions found on this listserv for dealing with the Virtual Machine issue and reinstalling Saxon, --
message is http://listserv.loc.gov/cgi-bin/wa?A2=ind0404&L=ead&T=0&F=&S=&P=340
-- but I'm not having any luck in being able to get the transformed html files viewable in a browser.
These instructions are from 2004 - are there more up-to-date instructions I should be using? Should I still be installing Saxon version 6.5.3, or should I go to a more current version? If anyone's been through this procedure lately, I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks much,
Alison
