At NYU, we usually have a seance after hours ... but to clarify what I wrote yesterday.
I'll use any information that's on the resource I'm cataloging. I'll also use anything on an author's website, faculty directory, gallery exhibition page, etc., but I would hestitate to use a birthdate found via Google without confirming it with the person.
