Subject: Registration of Interest (ROI) - Digital Archive
All -
Having launched its Interim Digital Archive on 01 July 2008 Archives New
Zealand now turns its attention to the creation of an on-going digital
archive system in which to store electronic public sector records for
long-term preservation and access. Archives New Zealand wishes to
identify organisations already active in providing software and hardware
solutions to address this.
As such Archives New Zealand has produced a Registration of Interest
(ROI) to help identify organisations interested in working with us on a
digital archive system. Archives New Zealand is using the ROI process
to gain a greater understanding of the availability of applications that
might meet their requirements. The next step following the ROI is the
development of a business case. Further information may be sought from
respondents as input to the development of this case. Respondents will
be advised of subsequent procurement steps.
The ROI can be downloaded from the GETS site: http://www.gets.govt.nz/
<http://www.gets.govt.nz/>
Archives New Zealand is seeking broad input at this stage of the
development process. Any wishing to respond to this ROI please be
advised that all responses must be received by Archives New Zealand by 5
September 2008 (New Zealand time).
