Hello all,

I have been meaning to get back to the list because most people  
responded to me offline.

Including the response I got today (thank KL), it appears there are  
about 10-11 Ph.D.s in the pipeline with approximately half who may be  
able to teach traditional cataloging, with the rest focused on org and  
metadata. Of course, there's a good chance that some folks with  
doctoral students haven't responded or aren't on this list. So, take  
this information for what it's worth.
