Subject : 2009 retrospective copy allotment now open
                         
The second retrospective copy allotment of digital books on cartridge is now active. This
allotment, which will run until February 28, 2009, can be accessed at
www.nlstalkingbooks.org/cgi-bin/retro_v2/index.cgi. Use your Network Library Services
login ID. Library quotas are displayed on the "My Actual Order" page.

The site has a number of new features, including a link to the "Help" page that provides
troubleshooting assistance and suggestions. This page will be updated periodically during
the allotment cycle.
               
A new "Upload Tool" that allows users to copy and paste lists of books and order quantities
from any spreadsheet will make it easier to post titles on the "My Actual Order" page.

Another new feature is a search option, "Since Last Period Close," that libraries may use to
identify titles added to the site after the end of the previous retro allotment.

general order process.__

Note: MARC record sets for titles announced in the two retrospective copy allotment
cycles will be made available within a month after the close of the second cycle.
