Hi everyone:

Kurt and I are going to meet with Senator Harry Reid while in Washington for 
our upcoming AFC board meeting to talk with him about folk arts and the 
recession, stimulus, etc. We would like to encourage others of you who 
attend to try and also schedule appointments with your senators and/or 
congressional reps. This is a good and timely opportunity to try and move 
our cause forward. We will try to generate a few talking points before the 
meeting so we can all be m ore or less on the same message. Look forward to 
seeing you all in a couple of weeks.
