Subject : Prelaunch schedule

The Underwriters Laboratory (UL) issue identified in Operations Alert 09-04, dated
February 10, 2009, has been resolved. NLS received UL final approval on March 16, 2009.

Barring any other problems, the 8 prelaunch libraries will receive digital players during the
last week of April or the first week of May 2009, depending upon delivery service. These
libraries will also receive multiple copies of 54 selected titles on cartridges, along with
braille, cassette, and large-print versions of __A Digital Talking-Book Sampler,__ a
descriptive list of the books.
