On behalf of the PREMIS Editorial Committee, I would like to remind the
implementers of PREMIS about the PREMIS Implementation Registry available at http://www.loc.gov/standards/premis/premis-registry.php.
Information about how and where PREMIS is being used is very useful to the PREMIS Editorial Committee in determining future directions for PREMIS. It is also an important resource to both potential and current users of PREMIS. To add an entry to the PREMIS Registry regarding PREMIS implementations completed, in progress, or planned, please submit the information below. If you are in the process of planning an implementation, your submission is also welcome.
1) Project/implementation name
2) Institution(s) responsible for the implementation
3) A short description of the PREMIS application
4) Projected dates of implementation (if not yet in production) or date that the application was implemented
5) URL to a production website if publicly available or to any demonstration implementation
6) URL to any documentation or specifications for the implementations
7) A list of tools developed or used and if they are available to other PREMIS implementers (along with under what terms, e.g. freeware, licensed software, etc.) (if applicable)
8) Statement of PREMIS version used in the implementation (version 1 or 2)
9) A contact name and email address
Please send your entries to [log in to unmask], to me or to this list.
