Details I don't know; however, Victor DID hand-"write" a lot of the data on
their recordings in the central "label area." They seem to have done so
through
at least 1912; Canadian Victors did NOT recess this area (unlike US ones)
until sometime in 1912...so artist/title/matrix#/take are often readable (or
partially so) under the labels here in Canada!
