OCLC announced this week that members are now encouraged to contact OCLC
directly for support. FEDLINK members need to be aware that due to
federal law and the structure of the contract, one aspect of your
relationship with OCLC and FEDLINK differs from that announced in
OCLC’s general communications. OCLC orders must be coordinated
with FEDLINK. You may NOT use OCLC’s Online Service Center to order
products and services from OCLC, and you cannot send order forms
directly to OCLC. If you do, you are at risk for being personally
liable for the cost of the order and could be subject to other
administrative or penal sanctions, if funds have not been authorized by
a Library of Congress contracting official. For more information about
the Antideficiency Act, see http://www.gao.gov/ada/antideficiency.htm.
Billing and Invoice Questions
FEDLINK will continue to provide billing assistance. Please contact
Holly Kerwin at 202-707-4854 or email [log in to unmask] for specific
questions about you OCLC invoice. For all other FEDLINK accounts please
continue to contact the FEDLINK Fiscal Hotline at 202-707-4900.
Ordering OCLC products and services
Please contact the appropriate FEDLINK representative to order OCLC
products or services. This will allow FEDLINK to ensure that your
funding is in order and that we can keep track of your order history
should there be any questions in the future.
