My personal opinion is that it shouldn't be pushed any more in its
current formto OASIS...or really anywhere. It seems anachronistic in
this increasingly REST web environment. I think AtomPub [1], (and the
example of library friendly profiles Jangle [2] and SWORD [3]) offer a
more compelling story at this point. If SRU Update could be updated
(heh) to fit into this landscape better I would be more inclined to
say yes.
