Dear Kate
thanks that's useful. We will be piloting a schema for our own use over the next 2 months, drawn mainly from Library of Congress Audio and Video schemas and our own community metadata, the DDI.
We will be happy to share them with you.
Best
Louise

Sébastien and Louise,
The US Federal Agencies Digitization Guidelines Initiative (http://www.digitizationguidelines.gov/) is starting a new subgroup organizing a subgroup to investigate the identification, collection and use of technical metadata for audio recordings, still images and moving images. This subgroup will be a shared initiative of the Still Image and Audio-Visual Working Groups. The effort will yield one or more discussion documents and, to the degree possible, will offer one or more draft guidelines. We will hold our first meeting in a few weeks. So far, we have participants from NARA, LOC, NASA, Smithsonian and as well as other US Federal Agencies. The group is convened by myself, Steve Puglia (NARA) and James Snyder (LOC). Information about the group's activities as well as any public material will be available on the FADGI website.
Best wishes - Kate Murray
