Hi all,
We are currently working on the development of the French National
Library's digital preservation system, using METS as packaging
metadata.
Our next step is to specifiy standards for technical metadata of audio
and
video content, and we are trying to round up current information on
existing solutions and planned extensions.
We have already looked into several options (MPEG-7, AudioMD, VideoMD),
and we would like to ask for advice/ best practices/research in
progress
in your institutions regarding metadata schemas and extraction tools,
including AES-098B whose draft is not publicly available.
Any help would be much appreciated!
