I am speaking about retrieval...

For updates, the Server Application is also the data management 
application and must know about the authority lists (effectively to 
expand codes to terms when indexing in Lucene).

My question is about retrieval. An example: a user searches about 
"Mozart" in the European Library. Let suppose Windmusic.org is 
integrated in possible servers...
It will receive a SRU query for "Mozart" and it will answer with music 
scores of Mozart (or about Mozart or referring to Mozart).
Those music scores bibliographic records are full of codes (composer 
code, publisher code, keyword codes, type of record codes, etc.) that 
must be expanded in the user language.
Who does it? Does the server application receive in the SRU query an 
indication of the user language?
