The British Library Sound Archive catalogue was down temporarily for
maintenance but is fine now. Apologies for the inconvenience. There might
be several hours downtime next weekend as we rebuild the indexes (these link
to 3.5 million entries).

Owing to essential system maintenance the Sound Archive catalogue will
not be available for a period of up to 24 hours starting in the
evening (UK time) of Saturday 28 August. We apologise for any
inconvenience this may cause.
So I guess the system maintenance has not gone as smoothly as hoped.
But a beta catalogue at
http://searchbeta.bl.uk/primo_library/libweb/action/search.do?vid=BLVU1&fromLogin=true&fromLogin=true
is working anyway.
