RCA invented the Lp in the 30s.I have two of the "Program Transcriptions" from 1935,one each from Stokowski and Toscanini.Neither have the PT sleeve if anybody wants to sell me theirs.
Soon thereafter,RCA started 33.3 LP transcriptions for NBC Radio,in all three sizes, 10",12",and 16".I have sold a few, including an Orson Wells, that went for decent money.
I also have the 1948 demonstration set Cumbia pressed up for Philco dealers,to demonstrate the first commercial Lp players.
