That's it all right. If you have it, see if the typeface for the RCA
Victor name is unlike anything you have ever seen elsewhere. The sample
label has the name with the typeface sans serief with the V much
thicker than the others and larger, extending halfway above and halfway
below the level of the other letters. There is a single circle at the
outside, no breaks and no Nipper logo!!! But under the artist info ii
says in small letters "(not for re-sale)". RE-sale????????? I don't
know if these labels are just a sample or if they were actually used,
and whether they were used for the whole release or just these two
records. (And I would think that Merrill would have been embarrassed to
sing this and "The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi" on the other side. Were
they trying to push him over to Columbia???)
