The Lindström project aims to chart the global history of the Carl Lindström 
company and its various labels (Odeon, Parlophon(e), Beka, Favorite, etc.

The first project report, published last year, contained a matrix chronology 
of all Lindström labels, by Rainer Lotz and Björn Englund. It is also 
available online at

Additions and corrections are of course welcome. We are now planning to 
continue by listing the various Lindström 78 rpm catalogue series, starting 
with Odeon, taking as a starting point the lists originally compiled by 
Björn Englund and published by Paul Vernon in the book Ethnic and vernacular 
music. Corrections and additions to these lists are needed. More 
specifically, does anyone know of a listing of Odeon catalogue series for 
the years 1903-1914 on the web? A collector recalls seeing one, but he 
cannot remember the address, and the word "Odeon" just produces too many 
hits.

We are also looking for any other information on the history of the 
Lindström concern. The next project meeting will be held in Hildesheim, 
Germany, May 7 - 9 2010, all interested are welcome. Feel free also to
